Highlighting With Gold Shadow…

golden hour

You can highlight your best features in many ways, but using gold shadow is a must try!

Known to brighten the eye area and the cheekbones like never before, gold shadow has also been seen to provide great luminosity and a beautiful sheen finish.

Many beauty lovers already own a highlighter and there are a lot of options available on the market today and that is why we decided to focus on one of the unexpected types, eyeshadow!

Multitasking, cost effective and easy to use, a gold eyeshadow such as our Superlong Wear Gel Mineral Face Colour is a great highlighting choice.

Simply dabbing a blush brush into the shadow and applying it over the cheekbones and down the middle of the nose can make a tremendous difference!

But if that isn’t enough brightness for you, a white shadow or liner can also be used to blend and create a glowing, sculpted complexion.

When it comes to contouring, highlighting is key as highlighted areas will become more prominent while darker shaded areas will recede and appear smaller in comparison.

So, for those round face types your dark bronzer shade should find its way around your temples, the hollow of your cheeks and your chin.

While those with a prominent forehead should shade around the outer edge of the forehead along the hairline to minimize the area with bronzer.

For the flat or wide noses a dark shading alongside your bridge starting from your inner brows with a highlight right on the center of your nose will make the nose appear thinner.

When it comes to flat cheeks, highlight above your cheekbone and work towards your temple.

Add blush to the apples of your cheek and fill the hollow of your cheek with bronzer.

So, if you really want to sculpt your face and reflect the most light, try a multitasking gold shadow that will make your eyes pop and your skin glow!
