You’ve told yourself this before; today will be the day I start taking care of my skin, but then as the weeks pass your new habit starts to fall by the wayside.
It’s hard for everyone, especially teens, to keep your skin clear and this can become very stressful… which in fact makes the problem worse!
So, what can you do to consistently take care of your skin?
1. Tone down your everyday foundation.
Not only is nude makeup looks in fashion, but it will make a world of difference to your skin as it will allow it to still breathe and therefore avoid clogged pores!
2. Stick to a routine.
This will make it that much easier to ensure you don’t forget to cleanse, tone and moisturise. Try and set a time to do this for yourself, such as making your new skincare routine the thing you do before you brush your teeth each morning and night.
3. Moisturise and keep protected with SPF.
Not moisturising your skin leads to an over production of oil which leads to breakouts so do remember to moisturise daily. Applying sunscreen daily will also prevent skin damage so investing in an effective SPF balm is equally important.
