How To Look After Your Skin!

It’s time to confess your Skin Sins… your skin is the largest organ of your body and the most exposed. If you want heavenly, angelic skin you need to bid farewell to those devilish habits starting NOW!

Over- Exfoliation

We all love that squeaky clean feeling after a good scrub, but doing so too often will result in dry, irritated skin prone to wrinkles and breakouts.

We suggest using a scrub 3 times a week, a chemical exfoliant such as Glycolic Acid once a week to ensure you aren’t damaging your skin’s protective barrier.

One product that is gentle enough, you can use every morning and every night is our Pebblesonic.

Not using Sunscreen

Sun damage is the number 1 cause of ageing. The best way to keep your skin from getting old earlier than it should is wearing sunscreen- everyday. Wrinkles, dark spots and loss of elasticity will appear at a rapid rate if you are being exposed to UVA and UVB rays without wearing an SPF sunscreen. Our Eclipse Daily Face Balm is a sunscreen and anti-ageing skincare product in one has an SPF +15 – protecting your skin from harmful rays as well as nourishing with beneficial ingredients!

Finally…the biggest no-no…. is smoking. We all know how terrible it is for your health- as if you didn’t need another reason to kick this habit! When you smoke you’re depriving your skin of oxygen, as well as inhaling harmful chemicals which can lead to pre-mature aging and a blotchy skin tone- which we know you don’t want!

  1. my skin sin is the worst one, smoking! I need Irene to vocalise that last paragraph so i can have her voice stuck in my head every time i feel the dreadful urge for a cigarette.

    • Hi Sharon!
It’s certainly a tough habit to kick, but well worth the rewards if you manage to do so! Believe it or not, you will start to see the difference in your skins hydration levels quite quickly. Good luck! xx Mirenesse Team
